These intricate yellow cedar paddles, carved by the Squamish Nation’s Matthew Cole, brighten up the kitchen at our Head Office. The one on the left features an in̓inyáx̱a7n (thunderbird) with a sts’úḵwi7 (salmon), while the one on the right showcases a yéw̓yews (orca) accompanied by a sp’áḵw’us (eagle), sts’úḵwi7, and sḵewḵ’ (raven). Abalone shells accentuate their eyes.
