People are at the heart of our work at Nch’ḵay̓.

Since 2023, we’ve conducted an annual Engagement Survey of our teams, whose results help us support their personal and professional growth, and reach our goals together. It’s important that we understand what’s working well and where we can do better.

Listening and acting upon feedback is one of the ways we live our values and do business the Sḵwx̱wú7mesh way.

We conducted the 2024 Engagement Survey in November and 80% of our team members—103 people—responded. Nearly 60% of our colleagues report feeling engaged at work, a 16% improvement from 2023.

Most of our team members also agreed to the following statements:

• Someone about work seems to care about me as a person

• I have received recognition or praise for doing good work

• I have the opportunity to do my best every day.

In 2025, we’ll focus on providing more certainty for our team members, improving internal communication, providing more opportunities for learning and professional development, and renewing our shared focus on doing quality work.
