Profile
Matilda Evergreen’s is a contemporary and cultural kitchen that stands apart from other restaurants and caterers with our uniquely West Coast First Nations-focused cuisine and Indigenous presentation. A local Indigenous owned start-up and culinary venture aiming to serve up true Pacific Northwest Coastal culinary terroir and greasy spoon classics. A specifically Salish, Temlaxan, Dakelh, & Nuu-chah-nult- inspired restaurant that strives to serve food that, on one side, brings dishes that comfort local Indigenous Peoples and, on the other side, offers a cuisine that pushes creative boundaries of what we think PNW Indigenous cultural traditions are. We are an Indigenous hospitality venture that provides a variety of different services. These services include: culinary and cultural consultations; catering events; and take-out and delivery (through utilizing delivery services such as: Uber Eats or Door Dash. We also have strong aspirations to having seated service that is distinctly traditional Nisga’a hospitality. This will eventually become our primary service offered.
Through teaming up with artists we will be selling clothing as well as food. Also, if companies or schools are in need of Indigenizing their food services or culinary curriculum we can offer our services.
