The Sen̓áḵw Cultural Advisory Panel invites Sḵwx̱wú7mesh artists to submit an Expression of Interest (EOI) for a large-scale vinyl artwork on the feature wall within the Tower 3 Amenity Exit Stair at Sen̓áḵw Phase 1.
The wall is a dramatic, two-and-a-half storey concrete feature wall spanning Levels 38 to 40 of the stairwell, lit by a skylight above and visible through interior glazing from the adjacent Level 39 amenity lobby. The selected artwork will shape the experience of movement, transition, gathering, and reflection in one of the highest shared resident spaces at Sen̓áḵw — reflecting distinctly Sḵwx̱wú7mesh design and cultural presence.
This call is open to Sḵwx̱wú7mesh artists only. Collaborative submissions and artist teams are welcome, and artists interested in mentoring emerging Sḵwx̱wú7mesh artists are strongly encouraged — intergenerational knowledge transfer will be considered an asset in the selection process.
Location: Tower 3 Amenity Exit Stair, between Levels 38 and 39.
The feature wall is approximately 10,150 mm high and 6,770 mm wide at its widest point, set within a two and-a-half storey stair volume with a skylight above, fire-protected glazing sightlines from the adjacent lobby, and an exposed concrete surface. The artwork will be seen both from within the stair and from the surrounding amenity lobby spaces, so it should respond thoughtfully to the scale, light, and vertical movement through the space.

Submissions are reviewed by the Sen̓áḵw Cultural Advisory Panel, made up of Sḵwx̱wú7mesh cultural knowledge holders who ensure artwork reflects Sḵwx̱wú7mesh values, protocol, and authenticity. The final artwork and production-ready graphic file will be owned by Nch’kay West (Sen̓áḵw) GC LLP; artists retain the right to use images of their work for portfolio and promotional purposes. All materials are handled confidentially. Nch’kay West (Sen̓áḵw) GC LLP reserves the right to cancel or modify this EOI, decline any or all submissions, or request additional materials or clarification.
